Artist Wellbeing and Support

  • Community Arts

You may be stepping into community arts for the first time, or may already offer creative wellbeing or social prescribing workshops.

Whether you need a sounding board to explore your connection to your creative content, how the work you do could effect the groups you are aiming to work with, guidance on maintaining boundaries with the public or highlighting areas to develop skills in facilitation, we can work together to explore your community arts impact.

  • Autobiographical work

If you are working on a project based on personal stories or issues that hit hard, we can take time to explore outside of the writing process or rehearsal room to ensure psychological safety along with planning for a containing creative process.

Looking at personal context and emotional boundaries can help you safely deepen connection to or explore how audiences may interact with the work and what this means to you.

  • Reflective time

We can work together individually or within teams to reflect on your experiances of projects using creative exercises for another perspective and start to think about how and what you leave behind, and what you carry on into your next steps.

Taking time to debrief and explore next steps in a creative space to explore and understand the challenges and celebrations.
