‘Create Support’ is about giving you time and space to create to Support your mental health.

I offer compassion, and a safe space to be creative and to talk, which is essential for everyone to support our well-being and mental health. This includes you.

Talking things through can be the first step to make positive changes in your life. I will give you time and listen without judgment, offering empathy unconditionally, to help you explore your own thoughts and feelings.

Sometimes we will explore your past experiances, behaviours & patterns and how they affect the present time. Some people find it helpful to look at coping strategies and psycho-education as part of self-care alongside your art making.

We are all unique individuals and using an integrative approach means I work with you individually, using different ways of working depending on your needs and wants.

You choose what to bring and what you want from Counselling.  There is no pressure for you to share anything you do not want to. Some sessions we may use lots of art, others we may only talk.

There is no right or wrong way to ‘do’ counselling. My role is to work alongside you whilst guiding and helping you find your own solutions, and be alongside you while we explore whats going on for you.

Remember, you matter, and seeking help when needed is a sign of strength. It is a brave decision to reach out for help. You are not alone.

Creative Counselling isn’t useful for people who are currently in or going into crisis, as I work in a different way to crisis support. If you or someone you care about are in crisis, this needs a higher level of support in services that need a GP referral and ongoing help. If you are struggling now and need urgent help, please contact your GP or;

you can text SHOUT to 85258

call the Samaritans helpline on 116 123

Or If you are frightened or worried or there is a risk of immediate harm/ danger to you or others
contact 999 immediately.

It is a brave decision to reach out for help. You are not alone.”
